About Larissa Twinem, RMT
Larissa Twinem’s passion for massage therapy began at an early age, helping her mother relieve tension headaches by applying pressure to trigger points. This interest deepened during high school when she competed on a swim team and experienced firsthand the healing power of massage after numerous sports-related injuries. Growing up in Peru, where alternative medicine wasn't widely practiced, Larissa saw the incredible benefits of manual therapy and became determined to help others experience the relief massage therapy could provide.
This determination led her back to Canada, where she attended the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. During her time there, Larissa's love for science, human anatomy, and her desire to help people came together. She graduated with honours, completing numerous hours of clinical practice and participating in diverse outreach programs in sports and hospital settings.
As a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, Larissa is excited to bring her skills to Peak Performance Health Centre. She is dedicated to helping clients achieve their wellness goals through a personalized approach to massage therapy.
Whether you’re recovering from a sports injury, managing chronic pain, or simply seeking relaxation, Larissa is ready to support your health journey.
